Assistant Principal
Thank you for visiting the Assistant Principal page! The 2017-2018 school year marks my 14th as Vice Principal of THS and 21st year as an educator.  I have served as an educator at each of the three levels: elementary, middle and high school.

My positions have spanned three counties in New Jersey: Monmouth, Somerset, and now Bergen. In addition, I have been privileged to engage various leadership capacities at the state level which have afforded me the opportunity to work with educators across the state. Free time is spent with my wife, three children, and our dog Scout.

Content and resources are regularly updated on this page for parents/guardians, students, and educators.  The MAP (Musings At Play) for Education blog is designed to generate conversation, offer context, foster understanding, inform and inspire while we navigate teaching and learning together.

The views and recommendations on this page and the MAP for Education blog are my own.  Opinions and ideas expressed here regarding any given topic may change from post to post as every day offers an opportunity to learn something new or to look at something from a different perspective. This is the liberty a curious mind takes!

I look forward to hearing from and working with you to garner insight to your thoughts and passions as they pertain to education! Shared thinking is good thinking and there is not a better topic than education. Education drives everything.

Please keep my page on your web-surfing travels and visit often! Drop me a line bcory@tenafly.k12.nj.us with general comments/questions or to share ideas.
